    General Dentist

    Dr Brian Clark is a native of Melfort, Saskatchewan. He graduated from Dental school at the University of Saskatchewan in 1987. After practicing in Saskatoon, he moved to Vernon to start his own practice. He is an Invisalign Preferred Provider today. Dr Clark is active in the community as a coach to young ski racers and other sports.

    He attended St. James Elementary School and graduated from W.L. Seaton Secondary in 1986. Before continuing with his post-secondary education, he spent a year in Argentina on a Rotary Exchange. Rumour has it that he still speaks a little Spanish!

    Dr. Hawthorne began his post-secondary education here in Vernon at the college, followed by a year in Kelowna at Okanagan College. He then attended UBC where he graduated in 1991 with his B.Sc. in Animal Biology. He was accepted into the Faculty of Dentistry, again at UBC and graduated with his D.M.D in 1995.

    He then moved back to Vernon to begin his career. Dr. Hawthorne associated with Dr. Clark and Dr. Burnham, before purchasing Dr. Burnham's dental practice in 1996. In 2001, Dr. Hawthorne moved the practice from downtown to their current location in the Cornerstone Dental Building on 27th Street.

    Dr. Hawthorne is an active member of an orthodontic (braces), implant and Botox study club. He has also taken numerous courses in the areas of cosmetic, laser, microscopic, Cerec, Implant, hard and soft tissue grafting and general dentistry.

    When not spending time with his wife Melissa and children Makayla, Reece, and the twins, Ava and Ella, Dr. H enjoys most sports. Some of his favourites include skiing, wakeboarding, kite-boarding, and biking. He also enjoys tinkering around with computers.

    General Dentist

    Originally hailing from Montreal, QC, Dr. Nicole Cordon graduated from the University of Montreal earning her Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2013. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency program at Mount Sinai hospital in Toronto. During this one-year elective, she was involved in providing dental services for persons with disabilities and the medically compromised. There, she also received additional training in sedation, oral surgery and emergency dental services.

    Dr. Cordon has spent the better part of her time in private practice in Ontario but is thrilled to be returning to Vernon after working briefly in the beautiful Okanagan a few years ago. She has also spent several two week periods servicing remote Northern Ontario communities and most recently was part of a dental humanitarian mission to Ecuador providing free dental care to locals in two remote communities. Embarking on many more such adventures and providing dental care to underserved communities is something she hopes to continue throughout her career.

    When not focused on dentistry, Dr. Cordon can be found cooking up feasts with her husband Johnny, hiking, cross-country skiing and entertaining their two wildly active kittens. She looks forward to providing a positive and comfortable dental experience to you and your family.

    Dr. Sandi Di Fabrizio was born and raised in Kelowna, B.C. and has spent most of her life in the Okanagan Valley. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Okanagan University College in 1998 and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia in 2002. Since then she has been practicing in the Okanagan and encourages a preventive and restorative approach to dentistry. Dr. Di Fabrizio lives in Winfield, B.C. with her husband Wylie and enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her family and pets.

    Born and raised in Iran, Dr. Khash moved to Canada in 2012. After completing high school in Toronto, he attended the University of Toronto, where he earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Immunology and Human Physiology. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University in London, Ontario. Following graduation, Dr. Khash began his career in The Pas, Manitoba, where he provided comprehensive dental care to underserved communities. He has since relocated to Vernon and is proud to call the Okanagan home.

    Outside of dentistry, Dr. Khash values spending quality time with his partner Kam, friends, and family. He enjoys staying active, often found at the gym after work, swimming, or skiing on the weekends. He’s also a proud cat dad to Nala, whose photos he’s always eager to share with his team. Dr. Khash finds great fulfillment in connecting with his patients, easing dental anxiety, and helping them achieve healthier, more confident smiles.

    Known for his calm and reassuring demeanour, he is passionate about creating a positive dental experience for every patient and looks forward to building lasting relationships within the Vernon community.

    Dr. Kamand (Kam) Doraki is a General Dentist. Originally from Iran, Dr. Kam moved to Vancouver, BC, at the age of 16. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of British Columbia.

    Her volunteer experiences in the Oral Oncology Department at BC Cancer Agency and the Emergency Department at BC Children’s Hospital inspired her passion for healthcare and ultimately led her to pursue a career in dentistry. A graduate of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry in London, Ontario, Dr. Kam is known for her compassionate care, attention to detail, and commitment to creating a comfortable, educational experience for every patient.

    After spending a few years in Ontario, Dr. Kam returned to beautiful British Columbia with her partner, Khash, to be closer to her family and community. Outside the office, she enjoys staying active at the gym, playing volleyball, hiking BC’s scenic trails, and watching movies.
